Howard County Rec and Park Programs at Clarksville Elementary
Amazing Architects
Students will design their own village with different styles of houses. They will also create a landscape for their village which could include a garden, pond, park, and more!

Up, Up, And Away!
Do you want to learn what makes a rocket soar into the sky? Do you want to design your own rockets propelled in different ways? Grab your space helmet and get ready to learn about rocketry.
Students in this class will experiment with different methods of propulsion to learn about how to make a rocket fly. They will get to create their own basic rockets and watch them soar into the sky. Get ready to blast off!
Note: Students will need to provide 2 empty and clean 2-liter soda bottles.

Do you love computers and puzzles? Do you love video games and would you lie to learn how they work? Have you ever heard of coding? Would you like to learn to code and use your creativity? In this class, you will be introduced to coding on tablets and playing different games that incorporate it. So, grab your computer mind and creativity hat. Sign up now! Do you love painting and crafts? Do you love art and design? Have you ever looked into a kaleidoscope? Would you like to create your own kaleidoscope to take home? In this class, you will make multiple kaleidoscopes that will brighten up your home and have amazing pieces of your own artwork to look at! So, grab your paintbrush and creativity hat. Sign up now!
